Image Tools combines several ImageMagick features in one browser page:

• Read an image's format, dimensions, bit depth, and color space.
• Resize its pixel dimensions.
• Adjust output quality.
• Export JPG, PNG, or ICO icons.

Processing takes place locally without uploading your file.

View image information

After you select an image, the tool automatically runs identify and displays information under Image Info:

• Format: the detected format, rather than relying only on the filename extension.
• Geometry: width × height.
• Depth: color depth, such as 8-bit.

• `x600`：将高度设为 600，并按比例计算宽度。
• `50%`：将宽度和高度都减半。
• `800x600!`：强制精确为 800 × 600，不保持宽高比。

按比例缩放是默认行为。一张 16:9 的图像使用 `800x600` 调整后会变成 800 × 450。若要以不同的宽高比得到精确尺寸，请先使用 Image Cropper，然后再调整尺寸。

调整质量

Select Enable Quality to activate the quality slider. For JPG output, lower values generally produce smaller files. Combining smaller dimensions with a suitable quality setting is useful when preparing website images.

Create an ICO favicon

1. Prepare a square PNG, preferably with a transparent background. If necessary, use Image Cropper with a 1:1 ratio.
2. Select Enable Resize and enter 256x256, 64x64, or 32x32.
3. Choose ICO under Output Format.
4. Click Start and download the .ico file.

An individual ICO image is limited to 256 × 256 pixels, so resize larger source images before exporting.

Output formats

• Original: keeps the original format and filename.
• JPG: fills transparent areas with white when converting PNG.
• PNG: removes metadata and uses an 8-bit color depth.
• ICO: useful for favicons and Windows icons.

Frequently asked questions

What does “Failed to read image info” mean?

The file may be damaged or use an unsupported format. Try opening it in your device's image viewer to check it.

Can it process a format the browser cannot preview?

ImageMagick may recognize some files that the browser cannot display. The preview may be blank, but image inspection and conversion may still work.
